Tri-City Community Chorus Music Scholarship
In support of our mission to encourage the next generation of musicians, the Tri-City Community Chorus offers annual scholarships to students and the community.
Student Recipients
2025 - Maddison Provencher, Noble HS, $1000 to study music education at the University of Southern Maine
2025 - Dylan Tolli, Scarborough HS, $500 to attend Berklee School of Music
2024 - Bayleigh Needham, Massabesic HS, $500 to study music education at the University of New Hampshire
2023 - Emilia Bayleigh, Westbrook HS, $500 to study vocal performance and opera at Vanderbilt University, Blair School of Music
2022 - Angelina DiBiase, Westbrook HS, $500 to attend the University of New Hampshire
2021 - Gavin Tarling, South Portland HS, $500
2021 - Ryan Murray, Thornton Academy, $500
2019 - Jacob Lamontagne, Noble HS, $1000 to study Music Ed at the University of Maine Orono.
2019 - Julie Ennis, Kennebunk HS, $500 to study percussion performance at the University of Colorado, Boulder
2018 – Daniel Laverriere, Thornton Academy, was awarded a $1000 Scholarship to the University of Southern Maine, Gorham, where he will major in Music Education with a Vocal Concentration.
2017– Katie Spagnolo, Thornton Academy, was awarded a $1000 Scholarship to the University of Maine, Orono, where she will major in Music Education with a Vocal concentration.
2016 – Rosemary Crimp, Kennebunk High School – $1000 Scholarship
to Gordon College for undergraduate study in vocal performance and opera.
2015 – Thea Hollman, Kennebunk High School, was presented a $1000 scholarship award to assist in her music education at either Ithaca College or the University of New Hampshire, both of which she has been accepted for her studies.
2014 – Jesse Sherwood was presented a $1000 scholarship award to assist him in his B.A. in Music at the University of Southern Maine, where he will major in Musical Theater and Voice, with a Minor in Deaf Signing.
2013 – Katie Delcourt, Biddeford High School, was presented a $1000 scholarship award to assist her in her degree in Music Education, Voice, and Piano at either the University of Maine or the University of New Hampshire, both of which she had been accepted for her study.
2013 – Alyssa Michaud, Kennebunk High School, was also presented a $1000 scholarship award to assist her in her music education at Berklee College of Music.
2012 – Cain Landry, Thornton Academy – $1000 Scholarship to the University of Maine, Orono, for a BM and MA in Music Education with a Vocal and Trumpet focus.
2011 – Caitlyn DeMeule, Biddeford High School – $1000 Scholarship to The American Musical Dramatic Academy in Manhattan and Los Angeles for a BFA as a Musical Theater Major.

June 12, 2010 – Theo’s Work to assist Father Marc Boisvert in his work for Haiti orphanages – $500

June 14, 2008 – Maine Chapter Multiple Sclerosis Society – $500
June 16, 2007 – Biddeford Free Clinic – $500 plus a possible additional amount based on tickets sold
December 16, 2006 – Counseling Services, Inc. – $500 plus a possible additional amount based on tickets sold
June 17, 2006 – Southern Maine Medical Center Oncology Services Breast Cancer Program – $1 per ticket sold rounded up to next higher hundred dollars
June 19, 2004 – Seeds of Peace Camp – $500
Benefit concerts – TCCC participated in two benefit concerts in 1999: May 22, 1999, Concert for Kosovo organized by the Seaglass Chorale
October 23, 1999, Voices of Hope at Merrill Auditorium for the Good Shepherd Food Bank organized by the Portland Community Chorus
December 19, 1998 – Biddeford High School Vocal Music Dept. –
$300 as the Biddeford High School Chamber Singers participated in that concert
June 7, 1998 (first concert) – City Theatre Associates – a contribution from concert proceeds to their air conditioning fund in recognition of their sponsorship of this concert
